There are two possible ways to do this.
- You have access to database.
For example through phpMyAdmin. Find the table wpsc_currency_list (with or without prefix) and edit the desired country row. You need to edit symbol and/or symbol_html entries accordingly
- You do not have an access to database through phpMyAdmin or similar interface but have ftp access (as in my case).
You need to run mysql query through a script. In my case i wanted to display AUD in place of $ sign to the buyer. First in the admin Store Settings General tab i checked the drop-down list’s ‘view source’ for “Currency Type:” option. For Australia (Australian Dollar) it was 137. Next i ran a mysql query by placing the following query in one of my site pages.
$wpdb->query("update `" . WPSC_TABLE_CURRENCY_LIST . "` set `symbol_html`='AUD' where id='137'");
This is how i changed the symbol_html value.

Re-Default Data Shows Obama Housing Plan Potential
Fri Apr 3, 2009 7:56am EDT
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - More than 58 percent of U.S. home loans modified in 2008 did not result in a decreased monthly payment, and those modifications often did not produce sustainable mortgages, according to a report released on Friday.
The recent data on re-default rates for modified home mortgages indicate that the Obama administration's modification plan is headed in the right direction, said John Dugan, Comptroller of the Currency.
Dugan said in light of the data released by his office on Friday, the OCC is going back to each of the servicers and directing them to review their modification policies to ensure that they are producing sustainable mortgages, and not just changing...
At the risk of2008-10-02 09:46:00 by Dalmax
Inviting (more) hostility, can I make a few mild and general observations to you, Heart (after which I need to leave for the doctor's, so a no response is not ignoring you; I won't be here).
I IMAGINE that you are overwhelmed by what you are trying to accomplish. How about lightening your load and giving yourself some breathing room. You made it this far, what's the hurry?
Be in the here and now. Get some Zen. Try not to re-live the past glories and inequities while you are trying to blaze such a large new trail. It takes a lot of emotional energy to live in the past; spend that currency on the future.
Don't take every incident that comes into view as the one which will repair/ruin everything. Sometimes a date is just that. Not everything has to be THE life-changing...
The concept of free market art2009-09-04 10:57:35 by Makevolente
Is a fairly new invention and a by-product of economic liberalism and free market economies. For the first few tens of thousands of years of human history, there was no art "market." Artists were beholden to the state apparatus/political institutions/social hierarchy- big or small- which they were a part of.
Art is an investment of human labor, and is a luxury created at the expense of investment in labor required to sustain life and further reproductive chances. In order for an artist to be able to invest such labor, others need to provide the survival investments on their behalf. For the first few tens of thousands of years, this required the consent of whoever was in charge and/or had the power to allocate the distribution of labor amongst those beneath them. Done as a display...
Have you tried changing society lately?2006-12-14 09:52:23 by austingeekgirl
Zeroeth- who is beating up whom to think we are
"bio-woman", I've seemingly (cept my parents) gotten
complete acceptance as just "woman". I hate to
say this publically, but it actually is not that
difficult to "pass",but for some,it may be more
time consuming on a daily? basis? I REALLY think
it is 90% attitude,of life. So... no beating up
is required here, no "fooling people" is necessary.
First, I feel hurt by people calling me a "passable
TS", I'm sorry, but I hafta take a label from someone,
I would like to ask for "geek girl",please? Woman,
chic, gal, lady, (even b*tch) are all cool.
Secondly, I have one heckuva man in my life, and
he is not a "chaser",yet, has managed to deal with
me as best he...
Great info - I've considered many options....2004-12-13 19:41:36 by SJRocks
So, more info for you.
The downtown SJ area is changing monthly, all positive. All the empty lots are spoken for (eg, a warehouse next door was bulldozed and 60 more lofts go online in a few months -- this is the rule rather than the exception). Top city officials live in my building, the two top real estate agents have bought in this building as well. One has the exact type of unit as mine, but is getting ~$200/mo less (I've done improvements).
In the short term, rents will stay here and increase about ~$50/year I guess. I have a good tenant that direct deposits on the first every month. I probably won't raise rents.
I have about one year's mortgage payments in the bank, so I don't have to make any hasty decisions.
Furthermore, I will be leaving the country for...
